As of Sunday, February 1, 2009, the new pastor of the Hadley Community Church will be Pastor David Defoe; formerly the associate pastor of the Metropolitan church in Hyattsville, MD. We invite you to join us as Pastor David Defoe applies the Word of God to everyday life and people from all walks of life participate in a powerful worship experience that you will not soon forget.

Meet the Pastor
Pastor David I. Defoe

Pastor David Defoe's, joy in ministry lies in visiting the sick, shut-in and elderly, and making sure that those who are often ignored know their value to both God and their church community.  

 

In response to God's call on his life, Pastor Defoe earned the Bachelors Degree in English Composition and Communications and the Masters Degree in Divinity. He is currently pursuing the Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is married the love of his life, the former Denise Lynnette Tolbert, who is a social worker.

 

Pastor Defoe strives to be prepared for the Lord’s coming, faithful to the call of God, and dedicated to working diligently for those whom the Lord has given him the privilege to serve.
